Snap top caps (or snap caps) are closures for HPLC sample vials that can be easily pressed (“snapped”) onto the vial instead of being crimped or screwed.
They are commonly used with 11 mm snap vials (for 2 mL vials).
These caps usually consist of:
A plastic outer cap (often polyethylene or polypropylene).
A septum inside (typically PTFE/silicone, PTFE/red rubber, or butyl) to maintain seal integrity and chemical compatibility.
